I play a Wal four string fretless bass with active electronics.

It was made in February 1987 and the note under the back plate says it was built for Martin Kemp (Spandau Ballet). I bought it second hand from The Bass Cellar in Denmark Street, London in 1999 (I think). Serial number is W2857. It has a Brazilian walnut core, stained 'olive' ash faces and an Indian ebony fingerboard.

Also have a Fender Jazz bass from 1966 (serial no 175674). It's white (headstock too) and a bit battered but it's done a few gigs.

Next up is my Fender Telecaster custom. Black with maple neck. Fender humbucker at the bridge and usual Tele single coil by the neck. Serial no is S853744 which puts it at about 1977 or 1978.

My main amp is a Gallien Krueger Backline 115.
